I have lots of experience creating and producing engaging audiovisual content from end-to-end. I have experience working with a wide range of budgets and to varying degrees of independence and collaboration. I have worked in multiple languages, on sensitive topics, and in fragile and conflict affected settings.

This is one of a series of videos that I led a consortium of international NGOs on the development and production of. The series focusses on women’s rights organisations in South Sudan, Nigeria and Yemen.

This video was used in a nationwide child exploitation prevention campaign. I developed the script through various interviews with anti-trafficking and child safeguarding experts and created the animation.

Warpod is one of the podcast series that I produce at Saferworld. Episodes are audio-first and are aimed at a relatively niche audience of UK-based policy makers interested the the impacts of UK security policy. We filmed this episode as it was one of the rare occasions that all guests were in London – we usually record episodes remotely as our guests are normally not UK-based.

I led the production of this documentary video project that spotlights the impacts of conflict in Taiz on the people of the city. I worked alongside a Yemeni filmmaker on the project which has contributed to significant positive policy changes within Yemen, especially regarding community security.

I worked with Saferworld’s Yemen programme team to develop this short animated explainer that the team uses to communicate their hubs model to potential donors, communities and civil society groups. I animated the content using Adobe AfterEffects and worked with colleagues to record voiceovers in English and Arabic for the dual language video.

I created this video from stock footage for a winter fundraising campaign. With a budget of £0 I think that I managed to convey the values and mission of STOP THE TRAFFIK. We wanted to look back at 2021 and the work that the organisation had carried out and to talk about how vulnerabilities to trafficking and exploitation have roots in wider socio-political and geo-political phenomena . We wanted to do all of this in a minute whilst remaining hopeful so as to illicit donations from audineces.

This Reigning Women season trailer was a project of mine. I did everything from sourcing the gear and organising the shoots, directing and recording the footage using only natural light, to editing the footage and getting the music rights.

This is a video I made from The Old Market’s event footage archive at the start of lockdown. We were looking to communicate our situation as a venue to our audience whilst remaining hopeful in an attempt to get donations coming in.

This is an event teaser I made for TOM’s Beer Festival. It went out across our social media as part of a paid campaign and was used in the bar and foyer on internal digital signage.

I created a little pop-up interview room in the basement of The Old Market with borrowed gear so that I could interview some of the emerging artists that we supported at the venue.

Here's a little how-to explainer video that I made to show audiences how to redeem their TOM's Friends Discount on tickets when booking online.

I was key in the production of this Gig For A Gig scheme explainer video which went out to prospective artists we were looking to attract to the scheme. This video was then split into different formats for social media and internal displays.

This is a teaser trailer that I made as part of the Reigning Women goody bag campaign. I acquired this mannequin and had a local female street artist paint it for the season. It was used as a focal point in the venue for the goody bags.

This is a kind of digital poster that I made for the TOMtech season. This went up on large format digital billboards as well as on internal displays around the venue. It was intended to be a pre-programme teaser of sorts.

This is a video I made in collaboration with a theatre touring company. They were looking for new ways to engage audiences on social media so I sat down with some members of their team for a series of videos about who they are what they do.

This is an example of the vox-pops videos that I helped to produce for some of our big shows with longer runs. This video was a commission from a local videographer.
